Thomas and his band are veterans of years of playing in Chicago blues clubs and this CD is an effort to capture that sound. The playing, songwriting and singing are all good. Thomas will likely never be a big star but this ia fine account of a top blues band from Chicago. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing this band live but I've seen a number of enjoyable blues bands from Chicago. Well done CD- 4.5 stars.
