The Battosai is here! and he is magnificent. I know. That is some pretty strong boasting. I love Kenshin. My kids love Kenshin. I also like figurines. I have a pretty good collection and have had my share of disappointments as well as joys. You want a great product at a price that is not wickedly over inflated. You want detail, color, expression, motion, action, authenticity, and if it's not too much to ask for a decent base. Well, it's all here. Scoop this up before the prices get out of control for this limited figure. This figure captures the serene but powerful character of the Manslayer. He doesn't need to say much, or even show a lot of movement, but he still makes an impression. This figure perfectly captures that. It's not overly dramatic, but neither is the Kenshin in the OVAs. That's what this reminds me of. You get one "head" with the single scar and a more serious Manslayer expression, and the X shape scar "head" with a "You're already dead." kind of expression. The base is good, though not highly detailed. But in this case, it's acceptable. That would take away from this gorgeous figure. The size and detail makes you feel you're getting your $s worth. It doesn't feel cheap and is durable. Out of the 40 figurines or so I have, this is in the top 5 because quality and it captures the character well. Even if you're not a huge Kenshin fan, GOOD male figures are hard to come by. This one is good. PONY UP!(Oh, you may be wondering about the high educational rating. Well, samurai's DID kill people for various reasons long time ago and also had a code of honor, "Bushido". Well, Kenshin's a samurai, killed people and has a code of honor. There's the connection. Cheers ;)
